You're a day early for the red beans, no? Doesn't matter, I could eat that dish any day of the week. Looks tasty!

My grandad always cooked beans and ham and cornbread for Sunday dinner.
Gave him an excuse to not have too go to church

Re: What's for supper?
I'll be right over. That bread looks delicious.

I had some boneless buffalo wings while watching the Niners win out against the Lions. SF is my home team, but it would have been good to see Detroit go to the Super Bowl. Coach will be kicking himself for turning the ball over on downs instead of kicking the field goal. That and the fumble lost them the game.

This is eerily similar to what I was thinking after my Packers lost last week.ViperDoc wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 3:49 am I had some boneless buffalo wings while watching the Niners win out against the Lions. I used the same line on my wife. She responded with "Do not try, Do or do not, there is no try."
In the last 25 years I never had a clue she knew squat about Star Wars, or The Rock, for that matter. It almost took the sting out.

It's safe to root for them again. The Chiefs have been Popwashed. The team has now been cleansed of sin, baptized in the attentions of the worlds pop goddess.
If that doesn't do it, they'll have to try changing their logo.

It's not my wife we pretty much agree on everything. We both hate current pop culture. It's everybody else. My personality is probably the main reason I'm not a very wealthy man . Not a lot I can do about it but try to realize when I'm being an asshole.

Haha I spent over 30 years rooting for the cheifs. Just to watch Schotinhiemer blow it in the championship. Almost like he was paid to throw the game.
I wouldn't even know they're in if I hadn't overheard someone talking about it. I tuned out all the media sports Hollywood news etc. A few years ago best choice I've ever made

I'll help on occasion if we're going to resuscitate the food thread. Always good to see what others are doing and find a little inspiration.
