Re: What speakers sound good with the express?
V30's need a couple of years to calm down but once they do they are a nice speaker. I'm glad to hear the CRex is a winner. I've always wanted to try one of those. Maybe someday.

Re: What speakers sound good with the express?
I've used 25 watt Greenbacks, V30's and Classic Lead 80 clone. They all sound good. I agree with Glen that the 25 watt Greenbacks fit the bill the best for a TW.

Re: Who are we? Let's get to know each other!
Hi, I'm Kris. I'm 43. I play guitar in praise and worship settings mostly now. I really enjoy it. You can accuse me of being a turd polisher and am glad I did it, since I have a really nice sounding amp out of the deal and it lead to my first scratch build which is a TW variant that is in the mp3 ar...

Re: Amp Clip
Thanks, germ. Marshall 1936 2x12 cab w/25 watt Greenbacks. Behringer XM8500 close, Samson CO1 room mic (the first two intro kerangs were the XM 8500 only). Recorded dry, no effects or eq. Stock Gibson 498T for the first two segments, then stock Godin pickups from there. The guitars used were a White...
