Just a heads up, the 5F6A schematic is not the most common built Tweed Bassman. Do some research, the tone stack changed over the years.

Could you fill us in on what you ended up doing. I'm looking to do the same thing.

All of the glass 6sj7 I've tried we're noisy, had better luck with metal tubes.

On a different note. What's going on with the two 100uf filter caps. How did you wire them up seems off to me.

I've used it as the switch to select between caps on a gain channel like a Matchless. Works great.

I forgot to mention that I used a full 12AT7 as the reverb driver and a 250K lin pot for the dwell.

I built an Ampeg stand alone reverb. I used the schematic that Luthierwnc provided as a starting point. I changed a few things on mine.I removed the 220K and 250Pf cap going to the mix control. I also split the plate load res. on the rev driver 33K and 68K, the dwell feed was tapped between the two....
