Yes, let's see some pics!

I did pop a 12AT7 into my 5E3 clone, and I have to admit, it sounded pretty sweet, but it definitely does not drive the amp as hard as the other tubes do. Max volume was less by a long shot.

I guess I wouldn't hesitate to use a 12AT7 in a Deluxe, especially if you are after more gentle-sounding distortion and less volume.

The AY still sounds sterile to my ears, and the AX causes the amp to sound saturated all the time (except at the lowest columes). The 5751 is still my fave.

I use my mojo build 5E3 at church every Sunday.That with a tele is all I will ever need.Before the service this guy Bill comes in and says "Play some Blues"I belt out some ZZ top and get the whole place going.I love that little amp.Its light,I keep the jumper in and its just right every week.Classic tone!!!Mikey
