Successfull G-sharp guitar from Norway

Post by Tdale »

There's a Norwegian guy who has started production of a guitar called "G-sharp". It's a scaled down guitar, and it's tuned in G-sharp. Eric Clapton has expressed interest in getting one.

You can see a video on the homepage below. The first guitarplayer is probably Norway's best chicken picker, but in this clip there isn't much chicken picking though. He plays great anyway.

Let me know what you think.

Some death-metal dude is gonna get one of those and tune it to standard pitch.

The instrument has a pleasing warm full tone.

Both players are good, I was particularly entertained by the guy with the thumb pick.

Agree. The first player, is probably the best in his style, but he doesn't show it in this clip. He's an amazing picker and I've seen him live several times. I also had him try a couple of my self-made guitars.

Check out http://www.hellbillies.com/downl.htm for samples.

The second guy is, by the way, a banjo player.
