Thank you Marcus and Lucinda for this beautiful music! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you two and everyone else here at the Amp Garage!!
You make that D'Angelico guitar sound amazing! I believe that family made Violins in Italy in the 1800's

2021 can only get better!!

Cheers!

D'Angelico made guitars in Manhattan in the 30's using the same principles as violin makers. My wife's cousin picked up an original in Queens about 35 years ago; a real piece of history.

And that was a fine production from the... kitchen? Awesome guitar and vocals - beautiful actually. Thank you kindly, and have a Merry Christmas.

Wow!!! What a beautifully well done version of that song! Remarkable guitar work and lovely lovely vocals!

I've loved everything you've posted of your guitar work, but will confess that the tone on this is my favorite of them all. The full rich resonant warmth you got on this tune is just superb!!

The talent both of you have is so amazing.

THANKS for the two of you taking time to bring some Christmas cheer into a what is a tough season for many out there! May next year 2021 have great adventures and many blessings for you both!

Best regards and respect, Jeff

Phil,

:) that's very kind :D

Hope you had a good xmas.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, I thought it was a pertinent song to share with everyone at this time . When we went in to lockdown in March and I realised this was going to be a long term thing I decided to learn a new skill.

So I downloaded the free version of Davinci Resolve and started watching you tube tutorials. Here is a little example of my new skill set. It's basic stuff but I couldn't do this 8 months ago , so a little positive from Covid-19.

I know Phil is into video so here's the techy stuff.

Old Sony 4k Camcorder, and my Huawei Phone also in 4K, just set up on tripods and set recording. Audio is through a Behringer X12 desk (which has the ability to record a stereo out onto a USB drive) and our Bose L1 system we use when gigging.

D'Angelico gtr into my Kemper using my JM/SSS sig/2x12 G12-65 profile and Luce singing through a Neumann KSM104 vocal mic.

Dumped the lot into Davinci resolve and lined it all up manually and did the edit/mix. Went B&W for nostalgia with the song.

I must say for anyone wanting to di their toe into video, Davinci Resolve is the best free software I've ever used of any type. It's amazing, really is. It's been 100% stable on my windows 10 /AMD Ryzen 32 core machine and the limitations over the paid version are not that relevant unless you're making pro films. Even them it's only $300 for the full version!

Once again, happy holidays everyone .

I have a BOM to get together for my last build............................ yes I know......
