The Swiss Army knife of amps. Hopefully, it sounds good too.

Yikes! Looks like you'd have to have an EE degree to turn the thing on. I'll bet it has $200 worth of chickenhead knobs on it.

Those are actually more like Ampeg stove knobs. About $65 worth wholesale. I'll bet the amps will cost close to an arm and a leg, maybe even a few digits when they are finally available...

You only need maybe one knob on the amp for volume, then you have the volume knob on your guitar 'cuz it's easier to reach than the ones on the amp. COMMIT to a good tone on the amp then voice it like that. If you get bored every two and a half bars or so you need Ritalin for your ADHD. Unless you're over 14 years old that is, then Ritalin acts like speed.

'Nuff said!

I bet you can get some killer tones out of that amp. Unfortunately it will take you twenty years to find them :D

Yeah, it's complicated, but it's still no match for the infamous Johnson Millenium! I've got one of those (I lend it out to the young guitar pickers I mentor), and it is, hands down, the most complicated piece of gear I've EVER come across. But, since it comes with an absolutely indeciperable owner's manual (almost an inch thick), it's OK. Killer amp--really--but it would baffle an F16 pilot!

I had a Flextone II, then the Millenium, which cured me of Knobitis. A box full of glass and a coupla knobs is what it's all about!
