Helluva first try! That's gorgeous. That amp beautiful too.dcribbs1412 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 10:15 pm First build try, swamp ash body stained turquoise with copper in the grain(hard to see in pics).
Stays in tune well, plays good, comfortable with body contours.
Body is resonate and SD Le Brea pickups sound good.
Matching PR build.

Forgot to update. I finished the matching Strat recently.
Well, I do have to cut a new nut for it, but otherwise done.

I see Jimmy Page had all sorts of weird switching in his guitar. I kind of get it that it offers a lot of range, but I wonder how many tones are useful?
I tried the ten way switch on my Strat and I found the only addition tone I liked was bridge and neck in series and in parallel. I didn’t like all pickups in parallel or neck/middle, bridge/middle in series.
Yours Sincerely

It's first year with humbuckers. The middle wires to the middle leg of the switch and that is bridged to the neck but I disco the middle and bridge the switch for normal 2 pickup operation.
Here is how I bought it. Plastic cover over center because tick tick tick the pick.

Traded one of my amps with a Panucci strat, it's from a dutch builder. Excellent guitar.

Here are a couple I built from a kit. The amber burst is mine.
And the inexpensive Grote "jazz" guitar w/P90 is what I've been playing the most lately.
