Hi Guys...
I've been hit with a letter stating I would need to take the word
TEFLON off my wire page on my website do to fact I'm not a
licensee. That word is a trademark from DuPont and I've asked
to put the R below the name or a phrase stating that the trademark
is there's but to no avail
Any idea's on how to promote my wire without using that word
or something I can use to keep the word on my website.

Re: TEFLON -- A Registered Trademark
You could just call it PTFE. Then do as Boedeker Plastics does on their site...provide a technical description.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
PolyTetraFluoroEthylene is a fluorocarbon-based polymer and is commonly abbreviated PTFE. The Teflon® brand of PTFE is manufactured only by DuPont. Several other manufacturers make their own brands of PTFE which can often be used as substitute material. This fluoroplastic family offers plastics with high chemical resistance, low and high temperature capability, resistance to weathering, low friction, electrical and thermal insulation, and "slipperiness".
Re: TEFLON -- A Registered Trademark
Call it tefflon. People will just think it is a typo. We in the know will "know" better.

Call it PTFE and provide a link to DuPont. They can't grouse about that, can they?
