0.003uf or 0.0033uf?
Any difference in installing one for the other in a tone stack?
Re: 0.003uf or 0.0033uf?
no difference, but are you sure that you wrote that correctly?

No.
They likely have at least a 10% tolerance to them.
As long as they are rated for 50 volts more then the B+ they may be hit with your golden.

You read and wrote it correctly, and the difference is 0.0033 is 10% higher than 0.003, not a big deal. Decimal cap values like that with no units given are most often referring uF, but I'd much rather use nF, and write that value as 3n3. No decimal point to get lost, and it takes just three characters to write it.

3000pF/3nF vs 3300pF/3.3nF
Difference could be audible depending on how it's being utilized in the circuit, but neither one will make or break an amp, IMO.

That extra 3 is probably just a typo.
Usually people would be asking “.003 vs .0003” (big difference) not “.003 vs .0033” (no difference).

Not a typo. There are different standard values of components depending % tolerance. You need enough values allowing 5%, 10%, 20% or whatever in between without unnecessary overlap. This is why we have weird numbers like 47 and 56 as standards. But yes, doesn't matter in this instance, audio stuff doesn't usually require that much precision.
