Wiring Mercury Magnetics for Ceriatone OTS 50

Post by cuthbertdavies »

I'm replacing the power transformer in my Ceriatone OTS 50 with a Mercury Magnetics CER-OTS550-P and don't know what to do with wiring the 60V bias supply. There are two gray leads. I don't know whether to float one end or ground it and don't want to blow anything up. I attached the Wiring diagram from Mercury. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It’s this?

You’d ground one lead.

It's a separate winding, exactly as shown in the C-tone layout. Ground one side and connect the other to the bias supply.
