Rectifier & Pre's Needed

Post by zozoe »

Greetings,,, For my new Morgan JMI amp, I require a new production GZ34, & a few 12AX7's, and want to know who's making good glass these days for each type I need.. Many thanks in advance ॐ💃

The TAD GZ34 holds up well. Nothing like an old Mullard though.

In terms of current production tubes I would go with JJ electronics brand from Euro tubes.

i mostly buy jj because the philosophy i've adopted from someone smarter than me is that if it sounds good with jj tubes, it'll sound good with any fancy tube one could throw in it
