Hi, have this little soldi state squawk box for bench stuff and more. The internal speaker has a bit a low level gravelly noise.... very low. The extension speaker out to an 8ohm cab is crystal clear.
Any ideas on trouble shooting this. Power caps seem fine and components are in good shape, cleaned all pots and tightened all pots.

Sounds like the speaker coil is rubbing. Bad speaker!
