Tubes in Production?

Post by juse »

How can I find out what tubes are currently in production? I have a huge box of old tubes & would hate to design a circuit around one that you can't even get any more.

Go to a sampling of the big new tube outlets (TheTubeStore, Doug's Tubes, Tube Depot, etc.) and see what's on offer. :)

I wasn't sure if that would be a good indicator of tube production or not, as opposed to being a certain store's inventory. But, then again, if they all have the same items.... I guess this would show popularity & that in turn drives production.

They often state if NOS or not, that will give good indication.
