I wanted to do something a little different for my ODS build in the effects loop department. I am building in a Bassman chassis and I have this extra tube in there. I have always wanted an effects loop so I thought that would be a great use of the tube.
It is probably herasy to discuss on this board but I have thought of using a non_dumbleator loop with a lower impedance send. I have it all worked up accept for the fact that I wanted to add in a MIX control to an existing workable design to control the wet to dry signal mix. I don't know how to do the calculations so if anyone can help with that I'd be grateful.
here's the design

The 25k pot is the mix control but I have no idea what the value should be.
Does anyone know how to calculate the right value for that pot???
This is the last design hurdle before I start buying parts so I am very excited to get this done and start building.
Thanks, Bennypapa

Re: Effects loops for my ODS
This mix design is somehow similar to mesa boogie usual parallel (mix) loop which I don't like so much. I read that it's actually a 10%-90% mix control although mods are available to make it more 0%-100%.
I think you should better take a look at these:
