Re: Express Documents
Is there a copy of the BOM for the Express in plain text format? I can't read the 'xls' format with any of my software. I'm on a Mac that's set mainly for 3D work. No MSOffice or anything like that.

Re: Express Documents
It's a Microsoft Excel document, which is available for the Mac.
If you email me, I can send you a PDF version...

Re: Express Documents
You can use Open Office (free) to open all the Office applications, including Excel.
Geared originally towards PC crowd: http://www.openoffice.org/
However, a group is doing a ported version (Unix) to Mac:

Re: Express Documents
Er.. originally geared towards to linux/unix community who had no way to run Microsoft Office products (unless you were brave enough to use Wine) as well as open source proponents who didn't want to pay for Microsoft products. Done largely in something very portable (java I think). True though that the Mac version was a late-comer to the party.gearhead wrote:You can use Open Office (free) to open all the Office applications, including Excel.

Nit-picking aside, it does a pretty solid job. Also available (at least for windows) are Abiword for Word docs and Gnumeric for excel.
Re: Express Documents
Is it my eyes, that I couldn't find any pot in the BOM?
Or are they really missing there?

Re: Express Documents
Nope, they did not forget the pot!
It's under the tab for 'resistors' in the XLS file.

Re: Express Documents
So now we have "Express documents", "Rocket documents", "Liverpool documents", and "Schematics and Layouts".
Any chance of convergence rather than a tendency toward entropy???
