yeh thats right ,ive tryed lowering cathod caps a bit and bass is a little better , but seems to lack a tight punch to the sound and changed the .002 coupling cap also,what mods have you done

Hi can u knock the bass on the head by changing the value of the 150k resistor to ground here? which way do u go in value to loose bass

what i was really after was if i dropped the cathode resistor down from say 1/2 watt to 1/4 watt and would this wattage handle voltage for the first cathode and what sort of affect would this have on tone and the same with lowering the input 68k resistor wattage down ????
