The Moonlight amp uses a 6SN7 for a power tube and about 1W in push-pull. Shouldn't be too hard to graft any of a number of preamps onto this design. Hi Folks, Thanks for the kind words. I did an 18watt lite kit with Sweetwood a while back, and we did this as there was no Lite kit available at the time. Those transformers should work fine. The MM59 is a sweet OT too.
I think my 5E3 is running around 360V on the plates. If I had it here I would measure and post, but it's still in storage until I finish my house.

You could use a dual triode like a 12AT7 or an Octal equivalent for the power section. You could also use a small dual pentode.
