Whutchoo mean by, "...got smoke on V4."? The smoke exited from the
bottle or something in the vicinity? Did you power up with NO tubes and
check everything off on the list in Ron's guide? Do you have more power
tubes you can use when you try starting up again?

Quoting Avery 1204, "I will say however that Denmark Street London is looking up, we have Wunjo, Angel, Vintage & Rare, even Rose Morris, Macaris, the ever honest Andy at the PA centre, and Crispin & Ol taking over Regent Sounds. Going are the days of street monopoly, and the indies are in. Best of ...

Keerist! What died?
I kept mine on my fence, directly beneath the spot my neighbor Maj. Buzzkill would lean over every time to tell me to quiet down. This was 10 seconds after I'd entered my swimming pool by way of the roof. Granted, I would try to do my best splash dive with thunderous report and 400 gallon vertical w...

Nature's repugnant contributions
I had a succulent/cactus variety a friend gave me. Of the genus Stapeliad . It's flowers put off the distinct aroma of rotting meat. Apparently the plant thrives in the North African desert where pollination can not be performed by the typical bee. It must rely on the carrion fly to carry the pollen...

Whopperplate, Great looking job mate! If you can would you mind putting your measured voltages in this thread? It'd be informative to see how yours compare with the few we already have. Thanks

The cab vinyl and grill cloth are in flawless condition save for 30+ years of typical aging. Unless you were loca...

Great stuff Rob! It's about time someone put up pics of their O'scope exploits and empirical amp data. The typical adjectives can only inform us as an opinion. IMHO! Another opinion, you may do very well to heed Vacuum Voodoo's suggestions as he may be regarded as an authority at the very least. I m...
