One meter lead connected to Pins 4-5, the other to Pin 9. But there is no need to try this now since the measurements you’ve already taken tell us that the heaters are wired and working correctly.

Re: Newb question: which impedance 5k or 8k

I heard that it is possible to lower B plus voltage on a transformer but I would have to install some big , high wattage resistor, right? You can do that with a MOSFET in the ground return to the PT's CT, but I think you can make it work as is. MOSFET B+ reducer thread: https://ampgarage.com/forum/...

If this had been the “meet with Dumble and convince him that you’re worthy to have an amp built for you” audition, I think around the 7:30 mark is when he would have said “please stop that and go away . . . Wait. Do you have a cashiers check?”

“life-like vibrance, true presence, dreamy aural decay, and detail to take your breath away.”

I guess that justifies the farcical pricing.

is this correct? please look at the screenshot. I don't have them connected at this time.
I think the way it’s drawn in the layout in the third post in this thread is correct.

The illustrated build guide to the original Brownnote D'Lite -- which, IIRC, Normster wrote -- was good, too, if anyone can find it at this point.

Thanks pompeiisneaks.. I'll wait a few days and see if anyone else has any suggestion. Otherwise, I'll just order that and try it out.. Would be nice to get both transistors from the same source though - Especially at $20 shipping for a $3.00 part.. lol DigiKey will ship it for free to the US and C...

Re: Tiny spring needed

Couple nights ago I pulled a little too enthusiastically on a tiny spring in a Craftsman ratchet wrench I was taking apart, and it went flying. It made the faint “yeah, that was the sound of me landing on something. Or was it the sound of me bouncing off something, before landing silently somewhere ...

Re: Conclusive proof

I honestly dont understand the comments on the "kid". He's a mighty fine player If you say so. I never heard, or heard of, him before seeing this video. In the absence of the context of the rest of the music that the guitar part was accompanying, I don't think that a proper appraisal of the musical...
