Re: Lost a good friend today
Hey Mark; There is so much to be said about these events. You've really hit the nail head with the "get-er-dun" sentiment. I fully expect another 20 years on the planet but every little twinge gets me to thinking you know. My bro in law has a saying to support his multiple bad habits...."Some people...

I don't know why they feel like they need to synthesis perfectly fine drugs that are produced by nature. Biochemists that drink too much coffee. Brings on the urge to overdo and overdesign everything. (Like some modern guitar amps f'rinstance.) Decaf boys, de. caf. Ho Hum. No more fun. No fat, no s...

Nuvite! Start with #7 move to "C" and finally "S". Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to make it go mirror. If you have broken ribs make your kid do it.

Re: Tuners
I always have enjoyed the Sansui slide rule tuners from back when. I use a TU-217 in the garage system. [img:991:353]http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/TU-217later.jpg[/img] They went up from there to the TU-417 and Tu-517. These aren't just good at separation, selectivity and rejection but they also have p...

Are you going to stick a speaker in there? Is it solid enough to do that?

Those are pretty snazzy. What brand is it? It looks kinda like a Model 55 Shure when you get up close where you can smell the spit. Trouble was we used one for the rhythm guy and the bass player to do the doo whop thing and you know bass players and their personal hygiene.

When my dad was living his last few months he was in pretty bad shape. They moved him from Vicodin to Morphine Sulfate and he...

Re: Broken Rib(s) Anybody?
Don't mix Vicodin with alcohol. Keep a sheet of paper with the Vicodin bottle. Mark date, time and quantity of pills as they are taken. That way you can't forget that you forgot you'd taken meds and accidentally take more ..... which leads to more forgetting. A vicious and potentially deadly cycle....

Re: BRRRRRRRR it's cold today
We were all electric in Cowlitz County Worshington. We had a heat pump with a set of backup heating coils in the air handler. The coils almost never came on and when they did you could smell the dust burning off them. We paid 2.8 cents per KW hour in 1996. Can you imagine? All of the paper mills and...

I missed what bike you had. If it's a Harley with fuel injection they do that when you lay them down. You have to turn the ignition off/on/off and wait about 30 seconds before starting. I don't know why and I won't tell you how I know.
