Mayer sounds SO much better when you can't see him.
All those hours in front of the mirror wasted.

Re: Rock & Bikes
Let me guess... That's a kit bike and you're building the engine next?

Re: Pedal Mule 20 - Prototype build
Thanks for shedding some light on your context, Ag. Some of these amps are a lil' off the beaten path, so you can't just pick out one detail, and assume that the results will be universal. On the other hand, making tweaks one at a time can be a great teaching/learning tool (even if they don't give t...

Re: Something else I noticed
Just curious George here; No feed back to the phase inverter? I've got a cut switch on mine and when I cut the FB out it gets Loud and Raw. Did you leave out a feed back circuit on purpose? Regards, silverfox. "... on mine": What amp are you referring to? After reading your comments, it seems you a...

Re: Hardwood floors and guitar polish and socks do NOT mix
One time when I opened for John Cipollina he told me about how he used Hoppes gun cleaner to clean his guitars and strings, that tip saved me many times when I didn't have $ for new strings, you won't believe the gunk that comes off and the feel of the neck afterwards. 'cept that I don't recommend ...

Re: Hardwood floors and guitar polish and socks do NOT mix
Never use it. Never use Armor-All on anything either I wish you told me this a couple decades ago. I put Armor-All on the saddle of my BMW R90S. I went for a ride with a passenger on the back, and when I had to lay on the brakes hard, we both slid forward, only to be stopped when I "encountered" th...

Check for an ON/OFF switch. Failing that, unplug 'em, and enjoy the solitude.Littlewyan wrote:I had a quick poke around. Problem is I have 2 cordless phone sets and a router on my desk -_-. So I got loads of interference whilst I was testing which kinda ruined the test and made it pointless.

Re: 2 x 10 Super Reverb Combo
I flirted with the idea of getting a MojoTone 4 x 10" cab but decided that I had an opportunity to scale her down to a more transportable 2 x 10 combo. I worked on a 2 x 10" Princeton Chorus a while back that packed a lot of tone in a combo smaller than a Twin Reverb, so that is my goal. I got a li...

I consider myself fortunate to have seen/heard/experienced B.B. King in small clubs, sitting just off the stage, right in front of him.
Sending out the love, as he has shared with, and touched so many others.

That's the line of thinking behind the Cold War, when all the parties were "rational". I don't know that the threat works as well with less rational people.schaublin65 wrote:Hi,

Re: Replacement lamp blows fuse and lamp in Rocket
I replaced the traditional amber lamp in my Rocket with a Jewel style, but not traditional fender, that is 125V@75Watts and blows the bulb and fuse. Doesn't seem to be making a ground from what I can see. Here is the link to the bulb I'm using: https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/P-L110 Any sugge...
