Re: Pictures of Trainwrecks
All the old user posted pics are gone, lost to the use of external links to non-existant web sites. Why weren't these pics just posted on the Amp Garage server?

Re: Upgrade to AB763 reverb (no vibr) on bench
Scratch the 4.7uf pre cap if you want it to have any BF vibe at all, use the stock 25uf. The bass here is where the magic starts, the reverb circuit will thin that out. Also, you need the 12AT7s (reverb driver and PI). And remember that the 2nd input jack on a Fender amp creates 136K resistance befo...

Re: UA Amp pedals
No UA pedals here but I like my OxBox. I do have a few UA plugins that are OK, but, oh well, all they really do for me is make me wish I had the analog gear.

Modding the Fender Standalone Reverb tank
This is a just a post to sort something I read here years ago in regards to modding a Fender tank to a version that Kendrick had created. The idea was to turn the tank into something that could be used as either an EXT FX patched into a recording interface (or live PA FX channel) or something that c...

Re: Trey’s Deluxe Reverb mods
This is somewhat interesting. So where did this come from? Is this Trey's actual amp that is pictured?

Re: Princeton reverb has a lot of hiss
Hiss is not typical in a stock PR build. Make sure you have a 10pf across the 3.3M, if you made it any larger than 10pf you will have a problem. This 3.3M bridged with a 10pf cap is actually the clean signal input path to the PI. BTW, the AA763 used 4.7M here and the AB763 used 3.3M, this was a Fend...

Help, is this a Pacific Tranny?
A friend sent me this picture and it’s something Kendrick put into a Fender amp as a replacement. Are these markings something that Pacific uses? I’ve seen these marking before but I’m curious if anyone can confirm?

Re: There are 35 Dumble type pedals out there...
10thTX, I understand. I have a friend who is just like you. He coerced/chided me into making two recordings for him late one night using my iPhone 8. The reverb you hear is the amp's reverb, no processing of any kind beyond this. I'll post them along with pics of the PR's settings, it's speaker (!2"...

Re: There are 35 Dumble type pedals out there...
Thats nice to hear that the barefooted player might be using a Welagen clone. :D I've only been using my AA circuit board PR clone with the pedal at this point but even here it doesn't disappoint. My garage must be 24 degrees right now but I'll get out there soon to try some bigger amps with MVs. If...

Re: 2nd Generation 50w Period Correct ODS
Ah, roger this, Dan. So, I'm left wondering, was Dumble trying to confuse ppl here? Or do you think he at one time thought this was a better way to attach the screen voltage?

Re: There are 35 Dumble type pedals out there...
I caught that in the description, too, but maybe this is why (IMO) his pedal seems to be delivering the Dumble sound better than some (all?) of the other Dumble-type pedals. After listening to the videos, it doesn't stretch my imagination to consider that the Dumble circuit topology may work better ...

There are 35 Dumble type pedals out there...
And a new one every week I would suppose. I mean, who wouldn't want to buy an EFX pedal that emulates a $100K+ amp? This said, here's something new from Japan: https://www.freethetone.com/en/products/detail73/ The second video (the bare footed unknown) is apparently playing into either a real Dumble...
