MACK, Caterpillar, Briggs & Stratton, Zippo, Hoover... I think you've already thought of the best ones, though.

Re: Who are we? Let's get to know each other!

My name is Tim & I'm 42 yrs old. I live & work in big D, although I'd rather be cruising in a hammock with a good dopplebock & smoking a cuban cigar watching a Carribbean sunet. I design circuit boards, mostly Automated Test Equipment stuff for Texas Instruments. I'm married & have two boys and a ne...

Re: Volume boost on gain channel

The Xotic RC Booster pedal works nice too, and it doesn't change your tone and has true bypass. I use the Boss GE7 for a solo booster, works perfect when you notch up the level slider to just above your normal playing volume - plus you can shape the sound with the EQ. Yikes! Looks like you'd have to have an EE degree to turn the thing on. I'll bet it has $200 worth of chickenhead knobs on it.

Re: Tubes in Production?

Go to a sampling of the big new tube outlets (TheTubeStore, Doug's Tubes, Tube Depot, etc.) and see what's on offer. :) --mark I wasn't sure if that would be a good indicator of tube production or not, as opposed to being a certain store's inventory. But, then again, if they all have the same items...

you probably need winrar to unzip the files (it's shareware - a 40 day trial):

These sound files could probably be uploaded without the zip/compression - it's not really saving that much space by zipping them up.
