Komet 19...
Anyone have any updates on this circuit? I'd really like to build one of these, eventually even buy one.

Re: Komet, Trainwreck "Songwriter"
Even thought I don't think that's the topology Ken used, it does look like and interesting circuit.

Re: Komet, Trainwreck "Songwriter"
You probably mean something like this...

I'm not really sure this is where Ken aimed at when he developed the songwriter though. I'm guessing it's something much less complex.

Trainwreck preamp in a pedal?
has anyone built a trainwreck express/liverpool type preamp in a pedal, with full voltage, much like a matchless hot box. Maybe with a switchable third gain stage?
thanks
thanks

Re: express and master volume
it's funny to some people, and remember we are talking about the same amp here... the 1MG pot type circuit sounds very nice and works properly, to other people (myself included) there is not midle ground, it's either muffled and cut or full output. I know mine is wired properly. So more than looking...

Re: express and master volume
Hi blind lemon, this is the circuit I'm using, everything wired quite correctly: http://angela.com/images/t24.jpg Fowler I intend to use the regular single pot circuit rather than the dual ganged pot one, that said, I dislike ceriatone's offering, to put it in other words, I'm not a big fan of their...

express and master volume
So I tried adding a master volume for an express circuit I built, and decided to look in Ken's trainwreck pages, I used the circuit with the single 1Meg pot, due to the lack of 500k dual pots in my stash. When I tried it, the pot doesn't seem to attenuate a lot it's either full output, or almost com...

Warren Haynes plays some trainwrecks and other cool guitars
I found it a bit weird that no one seems to have posted this here, so I waited, but since no one seems to do so, I think there's no arm in trying it now since it's an older post. Mr. Charles Daughtry, who is a lpforum member and proud trainwreck owner, had the pleasure to have Mr. Warren Haynes (Gov...
