Wow! Congratulations. I'd say that's quite an honor. You should be very proud of yourself!

Re: New TW site is up....
8) That's really interesting, Allyn. I checked in on the TGP thread a few times today, and it's amazing how divisive the subject can be. I lurk and don't post at TGP, but like to hang around for the show. Call it my quota of drama for the day! Everybody had a position, and many wanted to def...

Re: Scope pix
btw, you don't need anything faster than a 20MHZ scope for audio work That's right! 20MHz is plenty. Excellent advice to get an affordable new scope with warranty, as opposed to a used, unknown scope with 10 times the bandwidth you'll ever use. The 250MHz scope I got could be used to build microwav...

Re: ACPlink?
Anybody have any kind of archive of those photos? There are a few in particular I'd love to see. Apparently there were some Matchless Superchief chassis shots.

Re: Oscilloscopes - Are they important and what Kind is adequate
I just got a Tektronix 475A, 250MHz scope. It was quite a coincidence--I decided that I finally had to break down and get a scope, so I had been looking through the local Craigslist for sale ads to see if I could snipe a scope from a student just finishing up a course, or something. I found a good s...

Re: New original '89 Express Youtube video by GK
Thanks again, Glen, as always! It's fun to see you play that track on video, after listening to it many times on your CD. The whole track, yes, sounds great, but I have to say I really love the way the amp carries on for the sustained note at the drum break right before the series of volume swells. ...

Dave is a well respected expert. I've bought all of his written work and enjoyed all of it. He was an authorized Trainwreck service center, IIRC, the ONLY one. Maybe he still is, I don't know--?

Re: Using 5932/6L6WGB wide base tubes in a 5F4...
I have a matched quad of the same 5932s, Sylvania JAN. Brown-base phatties. I haven't installed them in anything as of yet, but I measured them against some normal tube retainers and there was no way that I would be fitting them without some temporary adjustments. I am enthusiastic about them and lo...

Omar, if I may make a suggestion... Out of 2836 members, only 938 of them have even posted once! Maybe a pruning is in order. Any members older than 30 days and 0 posts should be removed. They can always sign back up once they are ready to contribute. Just an idea...... Doesn't sound like a bad ide...
