Re: Source for Custom Chassis
Fellow Buckeyes? Just curious where you guys are located. I'm from the west side of Cleveland (and OSU grad). Won't be able to make the show since I'll be in Athens, OH that weekend visiting friends. I haven't been the Columbus show since probably 1996. Is it still a big show? Omar Omar I live just...

Mike will be at the show. He is sharing a table with someone (can't remember right now) Plexi and myself will also have a table setup. If you make it stop by and see us. Might even have my Junkyard Express there.

Re: Source for Custom Chassis
I have been exchanging emails with Mike at Komboking about making me a TW express chassis. I just sent him the specs and am waiting on a price. I am going to try and have him bring it to the Columbus Ohio Guitar show on Jan 15. http://www.ohioguitarshows.com/ Anyone else going to be there?? I Don't ...

Re: Does anyone have a source for Perfboard?
I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought I would carry it on here..... Plexi brought over some board he had dug up from his stash this evening and I mocked up a couple of boards. Here are some pics.... Sorry about the bad focus on some of the shots  If anyone is interested there are exact...

The Trim pot is 25k and the Bumble Bees you refer to are 3watt 100k resistors. Don't forget the Transformers.......

Martin
The two green resistors are 1k 5watt......The two caps on the switch are 500pf and 100pf (some schematics show a 500pf and a 10 pf).... and then of course the M.O.V and as ChrisG mentioned the blue cap is a 47pf.
Welcome to the board and good luck with your build!

Re: Does anyone have a source for Perfboard?
Unfortunally they only had the thre packs left and I bought all they had. I figured this would get me through one good build if I'm lucky. I just thought if I could find them then maybe someone else might get lucky too if they new what to look for. The sales guy couldn't even find a price on these t...

Re: Does anyone have a source for Perfboard?
Thought I would go ahead and post this in this thread. I stopped by a local Electronic store on my way home from work and scored these little jewels today. Since we have been discussing the board specs I thought I would post the picture and data on the terminal pins used on the Franchesca. They were...

Re: Does anyone have a source for Perfboard?
Dana - here's a photo that shows the road I've been down. The strip in the centre is a 7x27 hole piece of the original RS stuff that Marshall used. That's the size for the 18W turret board. All of this stuff is definitely on 3/8" spacing. Although when I say 'definitely', I need to add a caveat: th...

Re: Does anyone have a source for Perfboard?
Hey Funk and Loverocker The only reason I was looking at FR2 was that the boards used in amps back then were phenolic and so is FR1 and FR2. (Just trying to get it as close to the original as possible.) I am sure G10 would work just fine as would Gargolyte or any other material used for boards. It s...

Re: Gentlemen! I have Good News!
HeeBGB This is the same board that I gave the link too in the other thread 5 days ago. http://minute-man.com/acatalog/Perforated_Prototyping_Boards__No_Copper_.html It is made by GC part number 22-518 and can be ordered through the link above and a few others. A local electronic shop here has about ...
