Maybe the 12-65 Creamback, but the AlNiCo Creamback is anything but dark.

Isopropyl is rubbing alcohol. Shellac is dissolved in methanol.

Most such pots are available in 2x500k versions, some in 1x250k + 1x500k. Let's assume Dumble used an off-the-shelf dual concentric pot found in Fender Jazzbass bass guitars: 250k and 500k.
