These are Rosenthal resistors. Rosenthal later became Draloric. I don’t know about the composition though.

Re: Revisit #0183 with 5-piece chassis
Ah ok :D It’s interesting to see so many little differences between the layout and original pics (and your build), noval sockets turned 180 degrees etc… One more question. Are these nte caps metalized polyester? I just started my own 183 build and try to find subsitudes similar in composition an con...

Re: Revisit #0183 with 5-piece chassis
Very impressing build! Possibly you can‘t go further in terms of cloning.. There seem to be an additional grounding point for the loop jacks. What‘s the difference in grounding them at this spot? Thank you. I am not sure of the effect other than it possibly eliminates a ground loop at the EFX send/...

Re: Yet another 124 build
Hi Glenn, how did you do the grounding of the pot housings? If there is a thick layer of powdercoating on your chassis, there is a chance your pots are not grounded. And if your coax is soldered to the pot housings… This could be the reason of your noise problem.

Re: ODS 24 - revisited for the 21C
Is this one of the Dumbles sold by the Roy brothers in Germany late 70s? According to an article I read in a german magazin years ago, these Dumbles were produced in a small batch(a dozen or so) with identical circutries. I‘m relativly new to this amps, but my first impression is this is not a mod D...

Re: 50W 3rd gen build - troubleshooting
A quick update: got it all working now and I'm very happy with the result. I like the FET a lot so I'm thinking about making it switchable..
I will post some pictures as soon as I have a cabinet.

Nice build and great sounds, Niki! This circiut loves singlecoils or brighter sounding humbuckers like filtertrons IMO

Re: 50W 3rd gen build - troubleshooting
ah relays :D they've been the one consistent problem area in builds for me   make sure your relays aren't polarised ones is my advice then they will always work with the layouts posted. If you've bought polarised relays , which is easy to do by mistake, certainly with the OMRON mini ...

Re: 50W 3rd gen build - troubleshooting
Thanks to all for your help so far. The OD is working now, the switch had no ground connection :D . I measured 22v at the relay and about 17v when it's engaged. I ended up playing it for an hour or so before I realized the alligator clips are still inside the amp  this amp is just.. wow.. it's...

Re: 50W 3rd gen build - troubleshooting

There are some minor things I feel a bit unconfortable with but overall its ok. There is no clicking or something when i flip the channel switch. Also there ar...

I build the 50w 3rd gen ODS from the files section- my first amp ever  . It was quite challenging but also a really interesting jour...
