Re: Modifications for Crate Vintage Club 20
Thanks, oldmacman, for the mod suggestions! I picked up a used Crate Vintage Club 20 (without reverb) a year ago from Craigslist. It badly needed new power tubes from the get go, so I put in a new set of JJs. This is really the perfect amp to mod the preamp section and listen to how each mod changes...

Re: Cab maker in LA
Reggie at rawcabs.com is in Fresno. He built two nice cabs for me for 5e3 and Trainwreck builds.

Thanks, Charlie Wilson!
Are there any other publicly-available voltage readings for other Dumble-modified deluxes aside from that specemin?

Rectifier Rolling in Tweedle Dee Deluxe and Tweedle Dee Champ
I'm still a bit of a beginning-intermediate builder, but I've been advancing thanks in no small way to the knowledge on this forum. Anyway, lately I've been chasing tone in my four tweed amp builds: a mojotone 5e3 build a tweedle dee deluxe build using a PT from an old Magnavox turntable monoblock a...

Re: Reprise NOS Old Dale RN65D vs NEW Dale RN65D
Thanks for your work on this!
Are the NOS Dale RN65Ds indeed metal film? I read a post on this forum speculating that some may have been carbon film.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Re: New build- Tweedle Dee
Thanks for posting your build. I'm just about to build my second Tweedle Dee, and I'm considering adding Rob Robinette's Lead Cannel mod on V1a and his 3-way negative feedback mod on V2a, as you had done. After having thad them in for a while, do you stil use the modded options? Any downsides? Thank...

Re: Tweedle D build in progress - looking for suggestions
Hi all--my first TAG post!
I had success with Sozos in my 5E3 and 5F1 builds, so I built them into my Tweedle Dee. I also crammed Sprague filter caps and 1W resisters in there--a bit of an acrobatic build, but it sounds good to me.
(And thanks for the pics, Charlie Wilson.)
