Looks like the serial number is 221.
It's a steal for $175,000.
Does anyone know who this one belonged to?

Joe and Larry Discussing Dumbles
If you go to 27:30 of this video you can hear an interesting discussion with Larry Carlton telling Joe Bonnamassa about his early concerns with Dumble, how Dumble took care of him (in the beginning), and how L.C. ended up moving on to Bludotone amps. Larry has really kind words to say about A. D. bu...

Re: Robben fords amp at Grammatico tone shop
I believe that the guy turning the knobs was Rick Wheeler. He is or at least has been the tech for Larry Carton and Robbin Ford.

A recent Dumble story
I talked to a vintage guitar dealer who is good friends with Vince Gill. He said that some time recently (in the last year?), Vince Gill and Joe Walsh went to Dumble's home and played a bunch of amps. Some time later ( I don't know much later - hours, days, months?) Vince Gill gets a call from Dumbl...

Re: #079
I contacted Emerald City Guitars to ask what happened to the video. They were kind enough to respond. Here is what they said:
"Hey man! General consensus was we could have recorded it a little better… Gonna do something else! Thank you for tuning in!"

Thanks for posting. I got to listen to it but now I am no longer to play this video. Youtube says that it is private.

Re: Hey Robben, where's your Dumble?
Interesting. I knew Vince Gill played these amps and I am a huge fan of both Vince Gill and Paul Franklin. Hadn't heard that Robben Ford was playing Little Walter Amps. Like I said, he always sounds great. I just think he sounds a little better with his Dumble or even a Bludotone.

Hey Robben, where's your Dumble?
Robben Ford would sound great playing a Peavey Backstage but why wouldn't he want to use one of his Dumble's if he is giving a concert near where he lives?
Not sure what he is playing through. Perhaps a Dr Z with tape over the logo?

Re: Lead Dress: OD V2a Grid wire
I am still surprised that we have this many pages on the topic ... separated is still better as it is never worse. Audiodog, I really appreciate your posts and have added what you have said to my notes. I believe your message that these two wires should not touch has been received and believed by j...

Re: Dumble 50W 3rd gen
I omit the capacitors on the switches as they are also on the footswitch. Take a look at the layout for #183. You can use the same wiring for your #124 switches The only issue I see with this approach is that if you unplug the footswitch you will not have the capacitors that eliminate the switching...

Re: Dumble 50W 3rd gen
Hi Thanks for the post. I had it wired as per the Layout but it was working no idea why it was correct to the layout but is this actually correct. The capacitors are grounded on the PAB and the OD on the schematic which makes sense the layout however are not the same . Dont pins 1+2 and 4+5 need to...
