The big question is if you hear a difference with this amp now that is in the new chassis? Does it sound better or just "different"?

By the way, extremely clean and beautiful build (as usual). Definitely a reference build for me.

Beautiful build! Did you build a new board for the preamp? Looks pretty clean. Looks like you found a blue tantalum capacitor similar to what HAD used. Is that NOS or new stock?

As you can see, the new resistor (on the right) is very different internally than the NOS one. I'll let the experts decide if they suspect it is metal oxide or not, but it has less turns.
