Re: Marshall pre PI MV to Post PI

Yes. Much of teh tonal characteristics of a Marshall come from the PI being overdriven.

I don't get it. I've got original mustard 0.1's on ebay for $11 ea and nobody wants them and everybody's struggling to pay $7 for a copy :(

Re: Faceplate making material

I had them screen printed by a print shop. I should warn you the setup costs were prohibitive unless you printed ~100 sheets, which provides 400 panels.

Re: Faceplate making material

No, it is plenty strong and provides adequate" meat for alpha pots, if needed. The originals are similar in thickness <0.062" IIRC and, of course, made a acrylic which is a much more brittle material.

[img:2896:1236]http://webpages.charter.net/rmweb/Parts/Three-plexipanels.jpg[/img] I had the lettering printed in reverse on 0.040" PETG and shoot the gold over that. I tried prototyping with decal film but I had issues with decal stretch when I tried to smooth out the air bubbles, poor adhesion, es...

Re: Odd type of turret

I have some. They are useful where you need an extra tie point or two and don't want to add a terminal strip. I think I've used them to add PPIMV to PCB Marshalls to standoff the PI caps on the end with the pot.

ODS vs HRM vs non-HRM vs ?

Kind of new to the Dumble thing, but just bought a Ceriatone chassis so i need to learn. I'm having trouble finding a good comparison between the ODS, HRM and non-HRM (is that an ODS?). Can someone point me to a thread or something to learn me? Are the Chassis/faceplates for an HRM the same as for a...
