Re: 5e8a build questions
Longshot, but does anyone have experience with 12" Weber alnico speakers not fitting in a low power mojo tweed twin cab? The speaker measures 6 1/4" in total depth, cab is 10 1/2". Concerned it will hit the preamp tubes. I can call mojo on Monday for advice, perhaps they can tell me if I will have a...

Re: 5e8a build questions
Once again proving I know just enough (or don't know plenty) to be dangerous. A ground lug would have been best, but red/yellow and gree/yellow to ground is correct? Re: 5e8a build questions
Done except for the cabinet and power tubes. Anyone notice anything glaringly wrong? It's mostly parts from Tubedepot and Mojo + stuff I had in my parts bins, and a proper Heyboer PT. Speakers are Weber 12A150 with repro labels that I'll wire for 4 ohms. Going to use EH rectifier tubes, TAD short bo...

Re: 5e8a build questions
Exactly what I got, thank you. I'll post some pics when I'm done. It's been a fun project. I've only built British amp clones.

Re: 5e8a build questions
I measured and it was .5 meg. Maybe because I don't have all the connections on the first jack soldered, they're only physically wrapped on the terminal. Is the Weber inputs' layout here a good visual reference?

Re: 5e8a build questions
On the leftmost jack, the switch and ground are connected. I'm following this layout here for the inputs: http://taweber.powweb.com/store/5e8a_layout.jpg
I'll try your resistance suggestion!

5e8a build questions
Hi guys, I'm building a low power tweed twin, mostly from a Mojo kit, with some part swaps. My question is on the inputs. Do I have them wired correctly? Is there any need to run another ground wire from the ground lug to the chassis? I would think the physical connection to the chassis is sufficien...
