Sounds good! If you can make POS guitar sound good you've done well. I remember a story I heard about Joe Walsh when referring to a guitar amp/pedal/etc....he said if it was 'Rickenbacker friendly' then it must be a good amp. :lol: hahahah :lol: Thanks Fischerman...well It sounds even better live.....

Ok, not the best clips because I don't have the gear to record them. I record them using a comp mic and the sound recorder on my comp. Cab is a Bob Burt custom 2x12 with 102 003 pre-rolas 25W greenbacks. Guitar the most POS guitar ever invented hohner professional w/ stock pup, broken neck and fault...

Change the 1k 5W screen resistors to 100 ohms...on the schematic

Looks great! Those Panasonics look...authentic. :wink: Have you tried the ole AC30 'trick' where you turn the bass/treble to zero and crank it? Then maybe dial in a tiny bit of bass/treble. I just built one and it does the clean great and does the Brad Paisley semi-clean-but-twangy thing great but ...

yep that is pretty much as how it behaves. But even with the bass and treble at mid way and with the vol about 2 o'clock it doesn't get much heavier than an ALA AC/DC type of distortion....
