I have one of these - https://studiobricks.com/ - they do whatever size you want and it works very, very well for me.

Re: Radioelec Tube Tester
I am still using mine. Works fine after all these years.
No changes whatsoever.
However, there might have been some changes in the design - not sure about this, didn't follow.

Re: Supro 1688TN based tremolo pedal?
Sounds interesting. I have built the Kingsley Page and another dual tube pedal, based on ZWreck/Rocket preamp. I can certainly breadboard both Trems (Supro and Bard, albeit the Supro will need the gain stage before the trem, which is what the transistor does in Kingsley circuit is my guess). Not sur...

ZWreck style preamp/pedal build
Thought it might make more sense to post this here for documentation purposes and should anyone decides to further experiment with it. These SMPS based tube pedals get addictive, as they are relatively cheap to build and easy and fun to experiment with. Though for this one, I used a separate 7805 ba...

Re: Effect Pedal building
These get addictive. Did a ZWreck/Rocket type of a preamp with a few adjustments and tweaks. Very happy with the result. Extremely dynamic and reacts great with the guitar volume. The following sound sample (based on a popular song harmony) is Tele only for the two guitar tracks. Will do some more r...

Re: Single Ended Amps - Opinions
I don't see why it wouldn't work, besides you'll need to consider the (potentially) different driving requirements, depending on the power tubes combination used.

^ I have the feeling, I might have asked in another topic, but are there any sound clips from this one?

Re: Single Ended Amps - Opinions
Of course you can, it simply takes a bit more effort. This is all SE EL84 with a Tele: https://soundcloud.com/synchu/thewrongkonamp-final-rev-tele-rock-the-third To my ears it doesn't sound fizzy, I think. What I found, though, is that most designs are (for one reason or another) fit with undersized...

Well, I was happy to see this- https://guitar.com/features/interviews/exclusive-western-electric-confirms-plans-tube-georgia-factory-crisis/ Good news indeed. Unfortunately, but unrelated to the WE news, there is also bad news. Announcement on March 14: https://guitar.com/news/gear-news/electro-har...

Re: "No More Russian Vacuum Tubes in 2022"
This was more short-lived than usual... The below was posted a few moments ago in one of the tube related Facebook groups... Attention All EHX Tube Customers The export restriction on Russian tubes has been resolved for now. We are accepting new orders, processing backorders, and hoping to resume sh...

Re: Two Rock JM Preamp Pedal - No signal, just hum
If that was at me - it’s done (the breadboard I mean) and sounds great to me at least :) Will not be hijacking the thread though. Once my finger tip heals from the rather nasty cut I managed to produce, as well, I’ll make another thread with the design, some sounds and the breadboard view. Will take...

Re: Two Rock JM Preamp Pedal - No signal, just hum
True. Pretty inspirational it is I roughly breadboarded a Rocket/ZWreckish pre yesterday, inspired by this, but will have the time to test it on Sunday… may even throw a jfet stage in front for these higher gain days.

Re: Two Rock JM Preamp Pedal - No signal, just hum
Not sure whether I’m missing something being on my phone, but I don’t see any plate load resistors? Besides, heat dissipation of the mosfet and 7806 regulator is not optimal that way - heat sinks should cover the whole tabs. Another suggestion, coming from what I typically mess, is footswitch wiring...

Re: Spectrum/THD using FFT on Siglent scope
What Phil said.
I have Siglent 1102CNL. Spent quite a bit of time trying to make it work, but it didn't. Why they are stating it as a feature is beyond me
